Jeanne Wilson-Rawls

Biography
Jeanne Wilson-Rawls is an associate professor in the School of Life Sciences and director of the Molecular and Cellular Biology Interdisciplinary Graduate program.
Research in the Wilson-Rawls lab is focused on understanding the regulation of cell fate during development and regeneration with an emphasis on skeletal muscle stem cells and gametogenesis. Her research group and collaborators, both at ASU and externally, are applying cellular, molecular, and genomic approaches to understanding these processes.
She earned an Hons. B.Sc. from McMaster University and a PhD. from St. Louis University School of Medicine. She was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
Education
- PhD St. Louis University School of Medicine
- BSc McMaster University (with honors)
