A native of Brookyln, New York, Onyinye Anike found her passion for higher education and student affairs as an undergraduate at Stony Brook University while she was a Resident Assistant. Mrs Anike was a health science and biology major and recieved her Masters in public health with an emphasis in community health education. Mrs Anike has always loved working with students and having meaningful and intentional conversations around leadership, service and future goals. Anike believes in both challenging and supporting students in a holistic manner so they can meet their full potential as individuals. Before coming to ASU, Mrs Anike worked in Residence Life for several years as a Resident Director and Assistant Director of Student Life in various capacities at various institutions. She also taught several first year courses. When Mrs. Anike is not advising students, she loves to cook, spend time with family, engage in community service and dance.
