Tarina Nixon

A native of Western Pennsylvia, but a graduate of Highland High School (Gilbert, AZ), Nixon is a former 4-year Division I Women's Basketball student-athlete. Having obtained her BS and MS, she is currently pursuing an Ed. D., in which her research areas will focus on student-athlete development and organizational culture & development. With a fitness background, she enjoys continuing her education in fitness and sports performance, in addition to having a profound love for international travel. As an Academic Success Specialist, her goal is to connect with students to inspire them to use both their successes and short-comings to perform well academically, grow personally, and use both success and adversity to build a road that leads to their desired career aspirations.
